Jim Kenney is an E-RYT 200 and RYT 500, leading public yoga classes and offering private instruction since the summer of 2012. Jim’s teaching style stems from his foundation studies with Maria Garre and Shiva Rea, embracing the creative and intelligent sequencing of the Prana Flow Vinyasa tradition.
Drawing upon seasonal influences and inspirations, Jim’s classes are designed to empower you within your life. No matter what you challenge, Jim’s classes are designed to help you find opportunities to overcome them from within. Whether it is a sweltering, blues-inspired vinyasa class or a relaxed, classical piano yin class – Jim has one focus during his class: you.
Jim is a yoga devotee both on and off the mat. Practicing the physical aspects of yoga, like asana, and the equally fulfilling practices of pranayama and meditation, have transformed his life. Jim also incorporates yoga teachings and philosophies into his classes for casual reflection and exploration on and off the mat. After all, your yoga practice doesn’t end when you roll up your mat!
